The Nat Zeroes — a chaotic comedy D&D actual play podcast

Episode one — autumn 2026

Every registered hero on the continent vanished in a flash of green light. What's left is four applicants whose paperwork hadn't been signed off yet, one unpaid intern, and five friends who have never done this before.

What is The Nat Zeroes?

Callum has built an entire world called Edrathia for his players to explore — which would be impressive, if he hadn't done it having barely DM'd before. His players include a 26-year veteran of his friendship group, someone he found in a podcast Discord server, and two people who responded to a casting ad for a podcast that didn't exist yet. One of them had never rolled a dice in her life.

Their characters arrived at H.E.R.O. — the Heroic Emergency Response Organisation — as applicants. Paperwork not yet processed, badges not yet issued.

Then every registered hero on the continent vanished at once, in a flash of green light. No warning, no explanation, nobody left to ask. Just four people who hadn't been signed off yet, and an unpaid intern nobody had got round to putting on the payroll.

They are not qualified. They are what's available.

It's a comedy. It's an adventure. It's occasionally neither. New episodes fortnightly, starting soon.
